The 10 kV shield insulation copper-tube bus bars produced by Rizhao New Technique Application Co.,Ltd has been in use in substations of our company since 2002.

This bus bar type features large ampacity, powerful mechanical strength (rated short-time withstand current: ≥50 kA/4s, rated peak withstand current: ≥125 kA), low temperature rise, and high insulation level (line frequency withstand voltage: 75 kV/min). Practical application of the bus bars also show these features. This bus bar type avoids the problems of the original naked bus bar bridge, such as interphase short-circuit and grounding short-circuit accidents caused by metal objects or little animals, and also pollution flashover, and thus improves power supply reliability to a great extent and realizes maintenance-free safe operation of the bus bars (the committed quality three-guarantee period is as long as 20 years.)

According to the preceding features and good operation, the shield insulation copper-tube bus bars produced by Rizhao are accepted for safe operation in the substation. It is recommended to use this bus bar type in substations to be built, expanded, and reformed.
